Clear Service Expectations
Terms of Service
These Terms of Service explain how appointments, estimates, pricing and junk-removal services provided by Love It or Junk It! are handled.
Effective: August 9, 2026
Final Price Before Removal
Online prices and photo estimates may be preliminary. We confirm the final price before removal work begins.
You Stay In Control
We do not begin a paid junk-removal job until you have had the opportunity to review and approve the final service and price.
Consumer Rights Remain
Nothing in these terms removes rights or protections that cannot legally be waived under applicable law.
Section 01
About These Terms
These Terms of Service apply when you use the Love It or Junk It! website, request an estimate, book an appointment or receive junk-removal services from us.
Love It or Junk It! is a family-owned and operated junk-removal business based in Surrey, British Columbia and serving Surrey and surrounding communities.
These terms should be read together with information presented during the booking or estimate process, your appointment confirmation and our Privacy Policy.
If applicable consumer-protection law gives you rights that conflict with these terms, the applicable law will govern.
Section 02
Our Services
Love It or Junk It! provides junk-removal and related estimate services for residential customers and other customers we agree to serve.
Services may include removal of furniture, appliances, household junk, garage or basement contents, moving-related junk, yard debris and other accepted items.
Acceptance of any particular item or job depends on factors such as item type, size, weight, accessibility, safety, available vehicle capacity, disposal requirements and applicable laws or facility restrictions.
Section 03
Online Booking
Customers may use our online booking system to select an available appointment for either a junk-removal pickup or an on-site estimate.
Pickup Appointments
Pickup appointments are scheduled in two-hour arrival windows. Booking a pickup gives our team time to arrive, assess the job and provide the final price before removal begins.
A pickup booking is not a promise that every item presented at the property will be accepted. We may refuse items that are unsafe, prohibited, undisclosed, outside the scope of the booking or otherwise unsuitable for removal.
On-Site Estimate Appointments
On-site estimate appointments are scheduled separately from pickup appointments. Unless we expressly agree otherwise, an estimate-only appointment does not include junk removal during that appointment.
Same-Day Service
Same-day appointments are not offered through the online calendar. Customers seeking same-day availability should call us directly. Same-day service is subject to availability and is not guaranteed.
Section 04
Photo Estimate Requests
Our photo estimate system allows customers to submit job information, photographs and preferred appointment times for review.
Submitting a photo estimate request does not automatically confirm an appointment. Your requested appointment remains subject to review and confirmation by Love It or Junk It!.
When we approve an appointment time, we will send confirmation using the contact information provided with the request.
Customers should provide clear and accurate photographs showing the items to be removed. Missing items, concealed items or conditions that cannot reasonably be seen in the photographs may affect an estimate.
Section 05
Estimates & Final Pricing
Prices displayed on our website are starting prices or pricing guides unless expressly identified as a final quoted price for a specific job.
Photo-based pricing is preliminary because photographs may not show the exact volume, weight, material type, access conditions or other circumstances affecting the job.
Final Approval Before We Start
When a final price is required on site, we will provide that price before the paid removal work begins. You may choose whether to proceed after reviewing the price.
If the job presented on site is materially different from the information, description or photographs originally provided, we may revise the estimate before beginning the work.
Any additional charge for work outside the originally agreed scope must be communicated before that additional work is performed.
Section 06
Service Areas & Travel
Our regular service areas currently include Surrey, White Rock, Cloverdale, Delta, Langley and New Westminster, along with communities within our normal operating area.
Customers outside our regular service area may still submit a booking or estimate request.
Service outside the regular area is subject to confirmation. An additional travel charge may apply, but any applicable travel charge will be communicated before the customer agrees to the affected paid service.
Section 07
Customer Responsibilities
To help us provide safe and accurate service, customers are expected to provide complete and truthful information about the job.
- Provide accurate contact and service-address information.
- Accurately describe the junk and approximate quantity of items.
- Identify unusually heavy, oversized, sharp, hazardous or difficult items.
- Tell us about stairs, elevators, narrow hallways, long carrying distances, difficult parking or other access conditions.
- Provide reasonable and safe access to the items at the scheduled appointment.
- Keep children, pets and other persons safely away from active work areas when necessary.
- Identify any property, fixtures or belongings that must not be removed.
- Disclose relevant hazards that may not be readily visible to our team.
Section 08
Authority To Remove Items
By directing us to remove an item, you represent that you own the item or have lawful authority from the owner or person responsible for the property to authorize its removal.
Please carefully check the items being removed before work begins. Customers are responsible for identifying anything they wish to keep.
Once items have been removed from the property, they may be transported for lawful disposal, recycling, donation or other lawful handling as appropriate.
Section 09
Items We May Refuse
We reserve the right to refuse an item or stop work when we reasonably believe that completing the removal would be unsafe, unlawful or outside the service we agreed to provide.
This may include prohibited or hazardous materials, undisclosed dangerous items, excessively heavy items, unsafe structures, unsafe access conditions or items that cannot lawfully be transported or accepted at an appropriate disposal facility.
Customers must not knowingly conceal hazardous or prohibited materials within bags, boxes, furniture or other items provided for removal.
See Items We Don't TakeSection 10
Safety & Property Access
Our team may stop, postpone or refuse work when site conditions create a reasonable safety concern.
Examples may include unsafe stairs or flooring, dangerous animals, hazardous substances, unstable piles, blocked access, severe weather conditions or another condition that could reasonably create a risk of injury or property damage.
Customers should tell us before work begins about known fragile surfaces, pre-existing damage, hidden hazards or property conditions that require special care.
Section 11
Appointments, Delays & Arrival Windows
Appointment times are scheduled as arrival windows because travel, traffic, disposal-facility delays, weather and the duration of earlier jobs may affect arrival times.
We make reasonable efforts to arrive during the scheduled window. If a significant delay or schedule change occurs, we will make reasonable efforts to contact you using the information provided with your booking.
If circumstances prevent us from safely or reasonably completing the service as scheduled, we may arrange another appointment time with you.
Section 12
Cancellation & Rescheduling
Customers may use the secure Manage/Cancel link provided with an eligible appointment confirmation to cancel an appointment online. Customers may also contact us for assistance with an appointment.
If you need to reschedule, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible so we can determine available replacement times.
Any cancellation fee, deposit, refund condition or other financial cancellation term, if applicable to a particular service, must be disclosed before you agree to that charge.
Nothing in this section limits a cancellation or refund right that applies under British Columbia consumer-protection law.
Section 13
Payment
Payment terms for a particular job will be communicated as part of the service transaction.
Unless otherwise clearly stated, website pricing is displayed in Canadian dollars.
Before removal work begins, customers will have an opportunity to review the final price applicable to the job when the final price was not already established.
Applicable taxes and any other required charges will be handled in accordance with applicable law and disclosed as required.
Section 14
Property Care
We aim to perform junk-removal services carefully and responsibly and take reasonable precautions while moving items through a customer's property.
Customers should identify existing property damage, fragile areas and special concerns before removal begins.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for pre-existing damage or damage caused by concealed defects, unsafe conditions or material information that was not reasonably visible and was not disclosed to us before the work.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits responsibility where doing so would be prohibited by applicable law.
Section 15
Website Information
We work to keep information on our website accurate and current. However, availability, service details, disposal requirements and other operational information may change.
Photographs, examples, pricing guides and descriptions on the website are provided to help customers understand our services. They do not guarantee that every job will have the same size, complexity or price.
If there is a material difference between general website information and the specific service and price that you expressly approve for your job, the specific agreed information will apply, subject to applicable law.
Section 16
Privacy
Our booking and estimate systems collect information needed to review jobs, communicate with customers and provide requested services.
This may include contact information, service addresses, job descriptions, appointment information and photographs.
Please review our Privacy Policy for more information about how we handle personal information.
Read Privacy PolicySection 17
Consumer Rights
These terms are intended to operate consistently with applicable consumer-protection laws.
Nothing in these Terms of Service is intended to waive, restrict or remove a statutory right or remedy that cannot legally be waived or restricted.
If a provision of these terms is determined to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
Section 18
Changes To These Terms
We may update these Terms of Service as our services, website or legal obligations change.
The current version will be posted on this page with an updated effective date where appropriate.
Changes will not retroactively remove rights a customer already has under an existing agreement or applicable law.
